WolfPPT - PowerPoint engine
Update approved content in existing .pptx decks from Python.
WolfPPT is for teams whose recurring decks already exist: operating reviews, board packs, and client reports where a pipeline should replace approved values and text in the existing file instead of regenerating a deck from scratch.
- Engine implementation
- Guarded edits to approved content in existing .pptx decks, verified by saved-file reader checks inside the suite reporting workflow.
- Suite exposure
- The proposed suite adds WolfPPT support and a named workflow. Each qualified artifact must identify its exact version and applicable license; existing MIT rights remain unchanged.
- Downloadable qualification
- No suite customer package is qualified. The public MIT package remains the available download.
- Free rights
- The public WolfPPT release is MIT-licensed and free, including commercial use.
- What payment adds
- A maintained release combination, the named supported workflow with saved-output verification, and support. Payment never buys rights MIT already grants.
- Platform boundary
- No customer platform is qualified for the suite workflow. The reporting candidate was exercised on macOS arm64 and Linux x86_64 with a CPython 3.13 engine environment; Windows is unqualified.
Try your file
WolfPPT is public under the MIT license, so trying it is an install, not a request: take the source and install guidance from github.com/wolfiesch/wolfppt-oss and run it against a copy of one of your recurring decks. It stays free with or without the suite; the paid offering adds supported workflows and support, not the rights MIT already grants.
The supported suite workflow is qualification-gated. Qualification starts from a description of your deck workflow, not an upload: which decks recur, what the pipeline may change, and what must be preserved. Compose a request on the suite qualification page; this site sends nothing and no purchase is involved.
Suite relationship and availability
WolfPPT stays free under MIT with or without the suite. The paid artifact is Wolf Suite early access, which combines WolfXL Commercial, suite workflows, WolfPPT support, and the scoped WolfDocx preview. Early access is qualification-gated and not yet purchasable: a sale requires an approved agreement and a qualified release.
